I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18
This was the verse Lizzie read at Baccalaureate. I don't know for sure, but I don't think Paul had high school in mind when he said "present suffering," but when you consider the studying, tests, projects, social pressures, etc., the term could surely be appropriate. But all the hard work and perseverance has truly paid off and when she walked across the stage, graduating from Clear Spring High School with honors, she was beaming!
Graduation truly is a time to celebrate. This year we have 3 graduates - Emilee from elementary school, Lizzie from High School and Colleen from HCC. Last week we celebrated Lizzie's accomplishments.

| Welcome to the Party! |
 |
| "Oh the Places You'll Go" - Guests were asked to sign the book with a message, advice or a memory. (The book was added after the clouds parted and the sun started to shine.) |
 |
| Lizzie loves candy and sweets - so a candy bar seemed appropriate. |
 |
| One of the games - "Ring a Lizzie" |
 |
Time Flies -Reminiscing treasured memories.

The forecast for the day called for rain from 3pm-8pm - the party started at 4pm. In the morning we sat down to pray for the party preparations, those coming, and that if it would be God's will, the rain would not come during the party. We checked the weather forecast around lunch time and the radar showed no sign of rain. The clouds parted and the sun began to shine. Truly an answered prayer!!

| A fun game of kickball in the front yard. |
I am very thankful to my mom and dad, Chris and Cole who went above and beyond to help with the party prep. (Lizzie and Emilee were away from the day and Colleen was working.) I am very blessed to have an amazing family who is willing to help and listen to me say "just trust me - I have the picture in my head, it will work!"

We are so thankful for the amazing support our family has in our family and friends. The influence you have on our children and their lives is amazing and we are blessed beyond measure to have you! Thank you to everyone who has and continues to pour into the lives our Colleen, Lizzie, Cole and Emilee. To conclude the evening, we gathered around in a circle and had a light-up balloon launch. Each person in the circle was asked to say a prayer for Lizzie as they let go of their balloon. The pictures don't do the beautiful scene justice.
Happy Graduation Lizzie!! We love you!!
